Labour Day Weekend Show

I've been having trouble with the wifi here... signed on with Joan's netbook right now, so no photos to post. Orillia is a great town with a nice city marina. We found the best farmers market yet yesterday... besides the usual fruits and veggies, there were crafts, crepes, meats, musicians, authors, really good tie-dye... this was more like the Ganges Market.

We were visited by a sailing internet friend and his family yesterday that I've corresponded with for years. Nice to put a face and voice with the name. We had lunch out on the patio of a nearby restaurant. Nice time.

The marina thinned out for while yesterday afternoon while all the boats were out playing... then filled right up again when a few sprinkles came by late afternoon. As expected, it was packed last night, but not rowdy... surprising, considering the beautiful full moon. We sat in the cockpit and watched the parade of people and boats go by, Radio Margaritaville playing in the background.

We'll shove off again in a couple days when the crowds go back to work. I'll post some photos when I get a decent connection.
