We be normal...

It seems like forever, but most of it has been self-induced... we have been go-go-going since we left Arizona in late March.  Today, we got up when we wanted to... no miles to make.  We cleaned up at a leisurely pace, then took care of some "normal" chores: Joan did some laundry while I cleaned the boat.  A lady friend of ours with a new boat had some questions, and I went through a few things with her on her boat.  Then, Joan and I had a sit-down lunch in a real restaurant.  We went to the unique marina hardware store, mostly to look around; but I did pick up a couple small items I didn't even know I needed.  Our friends Joe and Ruth took us to this place 5 years ago... nothing much has changed, and that's a good thing.

We grocery shopped... leisurely.  When we came back to the marina, our friends Herb and Wilma were in their slip just a few down from us... and trying to decompress after a similar long drive (different routes, but they left from the Tropical Tip just a few days after we left... and it's a long damn drive no matter what route you take.  So good to see our friends here, safe and sound.

Tomorrow, we will be on a bit of a schedule as we move the boat to Friday Harbor, then come back on the ferry to get the truck.  But, for now... this chilling out stuff feels real good. :-)
