All chocked up...

No, that's not a typo.  Not choked up - chocked up.  We bought another chock for the second scooter for the cargo trailer; today was supposed to be install day.  Drill ready. Long pants and long sleeve shirt on, for crawling under the trailer.  I took the chock out of the box to test fit it... even though the info said it would work with any motorcycle or scooter, the fork legs come in contact with the supports on the chock - this ain't gonna work.

In the meantime, it quickly became apparent that the weather weasels were wrong: it was supposed to be overcast, chance of afternoon thunderstorms.  Actual: hot, humid and sunny.  Hot and sunny enough that when I reached up to touch the metal roof on the trailer, it burned my fingers!  No breeze.  Didn't take long for those jeans and long sleeve shirt to be soaked.

Couldn't go any further with the new chock - it will have to go back and get exchanged for another like what is already in the trailer.  We have a much heavier-duty chock that worked fine for the previous motorcycle; switching a few mounting bolts around made it work fine for the scooter.  Half done, and the other half will have to wait until we get the next chock.

A few more maintenance chores, we were both soaked to the skin... fortunately, the hot tub can also be a relatively cool tub.  :-)
