Where did the water go??

Well, it hasn't "gone," yet, but it's gonna.

If you've heard the say, "Beware the tides in months that start with the letter 'J'," you probably know what I'm writing about.  The tides will be extremely low during this full moon period.

This morning, there was a notice on the morning news that a couple ferry runs (most notably the Coopeville to Port Townsend) are cancelled due to low tides today.  Joan had a front desk personnel meeting last night, and they were "reminded to remind" all captains about the extreme low tides the next couple days.

------------

Most work-day mornings, I try to stay out of Joan's way while she is getting ready - she has to go in at 7:45.  Today, I have an early morning charter on the other side of the island.. I will be leaving the boat around 7:00 to scooter my way to the other side.  Early start to the work day.  I hope the whales are awake this early.  ;-)

Hi HRB, Super Moon this month and next, making for some extreme high and low tides (for this area). Right now, we are seeing about a 10' swing.
