Set up...

Check in and set up at the RV park in Laughlin went as expected.  I was surprised at how busy this place is.  Don Laughlin figured out a long time ago that RVers are good for business.  When we first came here, they allowed RVs to be parked in the casino parking lots, dry camping.  Then, there was a few years where it wasn't allowed... no surprise, business dropped.  So, it is allowed again.  We'd rather spend the buck and be in the RV park, where we have full hook-ups and a shuttle that runs between the park and the casino.

The RV sites are typical desert fare: gravel, not a lot of landscaping...

We spent a couple extra bucks for a pull through site; not because of any issue with backing, but it allows us to be able to drop the ramp on the trailer and come and go with the scooters.  You can see the guy on the other side of us parked his car behind the trailer... no big deal, I explained that we would be coming and going, and he moved it back a ways.

We rode up and down "the strip"... well, nothing like the Las Vegas Strip.  There are 9 large casinos and one small one on the strip; all but one of them are right along the river.  It makes for a pleasant walk, since there is a walk way connecting the first half dozen or so.  We drove our scoots to the Riverside parking lot...

Then walked along the river walk...

Joan wants to do one of the river boat rides - we'll try to work it in while we're here.  Across the river...

That's the Colorado River, with Bullhead City, Arizona, on the other side.  Continuing our walk...

We were back to the coach in time for Izzy's supper - you can tell she is excited to see us...

We scoped out a place for supper and will probably do a little gaming when we go out this evening.

On edit: Joan is up for the evening.  I am down 5 whole dollars.  Pretty inexpensive entertainment.  There is a shuttle that picks you up at your site and takes you to the casino.  Handy.  Before turning in, I took a couple photos...

No, it is not Vegas, but we do like the vibe here.  And, delivered back to our RV, where we left the light on...
