Another day...

What a difference a day makes.

I thought maybe I said something to offend everyone - the park was about 3/4 cleared out by noon...

We made a run to the grocery store, then out for lunch.  Iz got another walk in the tall grass...

She is a happy girl.

Today is a "prep for some long haulin' " kinda day.  The weather is supposed to turn wet again.  While Joan does laundry, I take care of our holding tanks.  We originally thought we'd be able to load up Tuesday morning  before the weather moves in, but the weather weasels are waffling on that (go ahead - say that fast three times).  I put away our sewer stuff, and we may pull in the slides, raise up the jacks, and move far enough forward to get the scooters in the trailer...

There is a gully where those tall weeds are, and the rear end of the trailer is right at that gully - no way to get the scoots in there without pulling it forward about 15 feet.  Yeah, these sites are short.  So... move the motorhome today, then move it back... or hope the rain doesn't hit before we are ready to head out in the morning and only have to put everything away, once.  Doesn't matter if you move 15 feet or 500 miles - you still have to do the same amount of work to get the coach ready to move.

----------------

The bikes are loaded (yeah, we moved it); ready to roll in the morning.  We've only gone a few hundred miles in a week... time to put it into "eatin' up some miles" mode.

Yeah, that would be a shame. But: it's a dry heat. ;-)
