She found out...

Not like it was a big secret.

We plan to roll on Tuesday morning.  Ferry reservations are made.  Mother Nature found out.  When we left Texas in April, Mother Nature made our travels a challenge: rain, lots of rain, thunderstorms, big wind, more rain, from steaming heat to needing our winter coats, more thunderstorms, a tornado (missed us by a few miles, but we had all the rain, hail, and wind that went with it), a blizzard (roads in the Black Hills were closed), more rain, more wind.  Once into Washington State, we had a sunbreak, more rain, more wind, then drizzle.

Settled in for the summer, she gave us plenty of sunshine, warmer and dryer than normal.  The last week or so, we have seen a lot of precipitation.  We are trying to get things packed up.  RVers do what I call "spreading out" when they are in one place for a while - the patio stuff seems to expand.  The screen room is put away, as is the hammock.  Same with our camp chairs and table.  Last night, there was a solid steady rain - through about mid-morning.  When it quit, we pulled up the patio mat...

No, that isn't a patio mat in that photo - that is the dead grass that was under the mat.  And, the worms and other creepy crawlers.  We drug the patio mat into the diffused sunshine...

A few hours without rain, the mat is drying somewhat.  We'll flip it a time or two before it gets put away.  Same with our windshield cover...

I put it on the trailer ramp just to keep the white vinyl off the soggy ground.  After moving more than a few bees out of it.

Joan thoroughly cleaned the inside.  The driver's seat is facing the steering wheel again.  Holding tanks have been dumped, flushed, and dumped again.

Little Izzy is looking concerned.  I think she knows her grassy yard is going to go away.  She has been very happy here.

I think I am being "shunned"...
