International Cat Day 2016...

Joan read that on the internet, so it must be true.  And, not to be confused with National Cat Day, which is in October.

So, in honor of International Cat Day, we will dote on little Isabella... hug her and pet her... give her some belly rubs... lovingly prepare her multiple meals today... give her plenty of time outside, while allowing ample nap time.  So, in other words: just a typical day.

Izzy this morning...

In that bottom image, she looks like she is sitting on a shelf - no, that is the running board on the motorhome.  Cat on a leash, not cat on a shelf.

We played tourist this afternoon: out for lunch, then went shopping (well, mostly window shopping) in the touristy shops in Friday Harbor... I wanted some kind of Orca keepsake to put in the house.  Joan found a very pretty bracelet in a gallery.

We took a drive on the west side of the island - this time in the CR-V, not on the scoots.  The experience is different, but just as pretty.

It isn't a drive on the west side if we don't stop at our favorite scenic pull-out.

Joan really likes the sparkly water.  I like looking at her...

The other day, I mentioned that some of the trees are changing color already...

I suggested a change of routine: we usually do laundry on Tuesday or Wednesday morning; with time left today, I suggested getting the laundry done and have two more "play days."  She was onboard with that, and suggested that the car needed to be washed, too.  I did that while she took care of the clothes.  Looks pretty good...

We are really enjoying the Honda.  Joan has been driving it to work lately, so I get my choice of red or black scoots for my commute.

Back home,; more cat adoring and outdoor time...

Happy International Cat Day!
