Biking Kerrville...

Kerrville has a wonderful bike path that runs along the Guadalupe River...

Our Trail Vipers fold up to fit in the back of the Honda; a few minutes to set them up, and we're ready to roll...

It's a path.  Well, a nice paved "path."  Ten feet wide.  It runs through parks and the occasional private property... like the city-fied version of the Mickelson Trail.  Only way shorter.  On the Mickelson Trail, we did about 28 miles, and only covered a portion of it.  Today, we did less than 10 miles and covered it all.  A photo essay...

Pretty scenery, wildlife, wooded areas, open areas...

A break to stay hydrated (above - temp in the 80s), then we were at the other end of the path...

Plenty of signage along the way...

Heavily wooded spur paths...

Benches...

Then, "Did you see that?"

Back to the car.  We found a Mexican Restaurant nearby for lunch.  Well, we didn't "find" it... it wasn't lost... but, we came across it.  Authentic.  Tasty.  Not Tex-Mex.

Then, a true sign that we are back in the Lone Star State: grocery shopping at HEB.  It's good to be back.
