Yep. Still blowing...

When I went outside this morning, the wind was still blowing 20+ mph.  It was supposed to easy up today, and there was discussion of taking the scoots to SPI for lunch.  By noon, I could see the wind speed was heading the wrong way, so I took each of the scoots out for some exercise on our island, and we took the car to lunch.  Riding the scoots on the causeway with a 25mph crosswind isn't a pleasant experience.

On the bright side, lunch at BurgerFi was tasty.  After lunch, we took a drive by the beach, and saw this heading out...

No markings that we could see from shore.  Certainly looks military.  I couldn't find any AIS info.

In spite of the wind, there were people enjoying this warm day on the beach...

Not packed, but not deserted, either.  Checking weather, it was saying the UV Index was 11... I didn't know it went higher than 10.  Yeah, a very sunny day.

That ship looks like a Newport class LST, perhaps this one now in the Mexican Navy
