A busy day...

The US Naval Academy in Annapolis and Washington DC after dark.  WAY too many images to go through since it is now well after my bedtime, but a preview of our day of touristing today.

We started off with a morning in Annapolis and a tour of the US Naval Academy.  Our tour guide was a retired Navy doctor who had graduated from the Academy, and had an obvious love and respect for it... a great tour.

Back to the coach mid-afternoon to gear up for a bus tour into DC and walking all around a bunch of the monuments and memorials...

That is the White House behind us (didn't see The Donald)...

Maybe more detail and photos in another post.  A moving day, and I'm bushed.

Hi John and Kathy. We heard that is a Tuesday event, and the last one for the summer will be this next Tuesday. Not sure if we will still be here, but that would be a sight to see. I've seen them on TV, but never in person.
