The Corn Moon...

No, it is not made of corn; nor cheese.  Tonight's full moon...

The September full moon is often "the Harvest Moon" - except the Harvest Moon is the full moon that is closest to the fall equinox (September 22nd)... that would be the full moon in October (on the 5th).  So, the Corn Moon, the Fruit Moon, the Worm Moon, or the Sap Moon for this month, and the Hunter's Moon next month (or the Travel Moon or Dying Grass Moon).

Clear here tonight, so just a matter of finding an open spot through the trees.

You forgot the Warren Moon He is currently the color commentator for the Seahawks radio network, working alongside Steve Raible. He was the first African-American quarterback inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Anyway, I still love your blog, both the intelligent writing and the great photos.

Thanks, Marty. Of course, it is possible to have a full Warren Moon after every meal. ;-)
