Evening Update...

Sounds like a news report, huh?

The dredge crew worked until sunset.  I visited with them for a bit when they were done (that dredge is loud).  They plan to be done with this part of the canal tomorrow.  That's the good news.  Bad news: they are going to go back and re-do some of the far end of this canal... may take "3 or 4 days."

Yes, that is the stock answer.

For a bit of levity: I think they may be hippies...

Do you see it?

With the higher than usual high tide and these guys stirring up the canal, there were a bunch of these around and on the dock...

Yeah, jellyfish.  We don't usually seem them by the dozens in our canal... a stray one once in a while.  Oh, and the high tide is a bit higher than yesterday, as evidenced by the water over the lower platform of the dock once again.

When the dredge finally shut down, the quiet was a delight.  I stood out on our deck after the sun went down to just take in the peace and quiet...
