On a boat, a rope is "a line"...

In the motorhome, it is: another toy for Rufus.

All of our cats have had fun chasing a rope (being pulled by an out-of-breath human).  Dan and Steph gave us a rope their cats weren't using.  Rufus wasn't sure what to do with it at first, but he is catching on to this whole playing-with-toys thing...

Yes, that is Rufus playing with the rope on his own.  You night notice it is looped through a door handle.  We discovered he is strong enough to pull the drawer open with the rope.  The boy has good hand-eye coordination... um, paw-eye.

Late this afternoon, we all three enjoyed the luxury of a little nap.  Well, Rufus takes several each day.  Because: he's a cat.

Into the early evening, Joan commandeered the bed to start laying out her latest quilt project...

That is a very compressed version, while she decides how to lay out the red and blue combinations.  Besides the patterns, there are cat and guitar printed fabrics in there.  It won't get finished until we get home and she will have space to spread out and put it all together - looks cool to me!
