New Neighborhood...

Moving day, and a chilly start to the morning: it was 48º when I got up this morning.  We did let things warm up a bit before we started getting the coach ready to move.

As I mentioned yesterday, we were able to get a site "on top," so we are just moving from one full service, paved site to another.  We made the move in 3 trips: one trip with the coach and the Honda pulling the empty trailer.  Joan pulled the trailer onto the site, we unhooked the trailer, moved the car, then I pulled the coach onto the site.  Back to the previous site to get one scooter, the back again to get the other.  The majority of the work is getting the coach ready for the short move, then setting up again after the move.

The RV sites are said to be "all the same," but even though the dimensions of the sites are similar, there are differences.  No big deal, but we are now along a road that goes back to a row of cabins and another comfort station (showers, potties, laundry); so, we are more "out there" as people walk or drive by.  Rufus will be able to keep an eye on the activity from "his window" in our bedroom.

Speaking of Rufus (and we do that a lot), he can tell when we are going to move and he gets a bit "clingy," even though we assure him that we are not (and won't ever) leave without him.

Getting set up on our new site...

Rufus got to go out on his leash to explore the new site...

When he came inside, he was secure enough for a nap...

Joan and I ran into town for lunch and grocery shopping.  Then, back to the coach for more Rufus time.
