When I got up this morning, the TV had all kinds of flash flood watches and warnings... not where we are, but where we were when we took the Vespa to Austin for its new tires. Lots of rain all around the area. As the day progressed, the precip probability was a bit less for us - not enough less to make us want to get the scoots out.
So... road trip!
Any idea where we are?
We did some other shopping/running while in that area.

Are your Tires covered under Warranty? One would think they should be..
Hi HRB. The photo is from the SAS General Store. adjacent to the SAS Shoe Factory. Every time we are in the area, we stop by this store; a bit of a drive from where we are staying, but we were able to pick up other stuff on the same outing. And, not a good day to be out on the scoots. SAS are the most comfortable shoes I have put on these fat feet.
I bought the Vespa used; it is a 2009 that only had 1,400 miles on it. So, the tires were that old. I expected to have to replace them right away, but they passed the "thumbnail scratch test" to see if they still had some softness to them. I got another 3,000 miles out of them - certainly more than I expected.
