Happy Anniversary, Baby...

Got you on my mii-iind!

If you said, "Little River Band, 1978," you get 200 bonus points (100 points if you didn't get the year.

Our anniversary today.  We went out for brunch this morning - Marcello's (Italian Restaurant) recently remodeled and offers a very nice, upscale brunch on Sundays.  Not a buffet, but tasty breakfast offerings, including a basket of fresh baked pastries.

Out for some dolphin watching this afternoon (more on that below).

Then, out for the evening with Mike and MJ and their friends from Iowa at Lobos del Mar (Seawolf), which used to be Palm Street Pier.  A new (huge) family has taken over, remodeled, and offers live music.  Tonight was kind of a jam session situation.  Good music.  MJ introduced us to the bass player, who asked if I wanted to come up and play... "Sorry, I didn't bring a guitar - maybe next time."

It was a nice day.

On with the dolphin show:

A Great Blue Heron as we headed towards the turning basin...

We used the pelicans to find the dolphins today: the pelicans were gathering in one place..

As we headed that direction, a dolphin popped up.  Then, several came close by the boat...

"Dolphins behind us!"  You can see who is important in this shot by the focus...

We saw this guy breach several times - more like a bigger cetacean (like an Orca), with a twist sideways...

A nice jump...

Faces and tails...

My favorite jump series of the day...

Heading for home...

Yes, the mustache is gone - my anniversary gift to my Honey.

A lovely afternoon with our dolphin friends.  Ready to make the turn into the first canal...

Turning down into our canal...

Tied off to our dock, Joan let Rufus out while I was putting the boat away...

And, another video "trailer" to celebrate this day...
