We are looking for some time in the mountains, the Black Hills, then back to Texas.<br /><br />As far as where the SRKWs go in the winter: they tend to be around the Salish Sea in the summer, because of the concentration of salmon that return to the Frasier River that time of year. In the winter months, they can be anywhere off-shore, from northern California to north of Vancouver Island. Quite a wide stretch of "residency" in their winter search for food.<br /><br />I won't be praying for sn... sn... I can hardly bring myself to write that nasty word. I spent too many years in the frozen northland, and I will be happy to never be in the snow again.
