Took a while...

We're into our days off.  We were going to go to Victoria, but there is "all boat staff safety training" that was scheduled for Tuesday morning (didn't get posted until Sunday).  So... that would have been right in the middle of our time away.  We decided to take today as a lounge day: we slept in (7:30 is considered sleeping in for us); after cleaning up, we went to the Hungry Clam for breakfast.  New menus at the Hungry Clam - no mention of bacon - I almost went into panic mode.  "No, the menu doesn't say it, but you can still have bacon."  Whew!

A walk around town, and Joan stopped in at a salon to get a hair appointment.  They had an opening for this afternoon, so she took it.  While she was getting her hair cut, I took my scoot out for some "two-wheel therapy."

It had been a chilly, gray start to the day; it took 'till about 2:00 before the sun decided to make an appearance.  Views of the marina as I walked up to the scoot...

It really is a beautiful blue sky around here when the clouds part.

The PCX next to a Piaggio Fly in the parking lot...

I ran an errand with the scoot, then tooled around a bit.  Down a road by the back side of Friday Harbor...

Looking for all the world like a country lane.  Then, a stop with Griffin Bay in the background...

Turned out to be a nice (but cool) day.
