Coming back to the coach tonight from John's, it was after dark... fireflies! It was probably the last time we were in Iowa during the summer (which would have been a long time ago) that I've seen fireflies. It brings back childhood memories... catching fireflies... giant neighborhood games of hide and seek or capture the flag... after dark.

We went out for supper with John this evening. Afterwards, he gave us a tour of the land that is part of the family farm. His family has farmed here for generations... he was born to be a pilot, but he is still part of the management of the family farm holdings.
