Settled in for a few days to visit Joan's Mom. 300 miles from south Kansas into Texas. Yes, through Oklahoma... is it true the state motto is: "Land of Infinitely Crappy Roads"? Even in places where there has been recent road construction, the joints where the roads meet the bridges is like driving over a curb!
On the bright side, autumn followed us south, with nice color starting in the trees. But, the temperature was like getting another summer, with temps in the 80s. Endless summer... I like that idea. ;-)
