Winery and Wedding...

We had some time between breakfast and the wedding.  Joan proposed we go check out a nearby winery - the group was up for it.

Yes, Texas has wineries.  According to this owner, "Some of the best wine in the world is produced right here..."

Tasting...

And, a tour, guided by the owner...

We were back in time to spruce up for the afternoon wedding.  An outdoor wedding on the grounds here at the resort.  The bride arrived in a white horse-drawn carriage.  It was a very nice ceremony, then the bride and groom left for the reception in that same carriage...

The reception was at the Reception Hall on the resort property; a DJ kept things moving.  Touching first dance and others.  Joan and I were the second to the last on the floor when the DJ narrowed down the couples who have been married the longest.

Here is Joan, flanked by her sisters...

"We are family.  I've got all my sisters and me..."

Nice wedding; good time.
