Contemplating...

The rain is really coming down this morning.  Looks like this will be a "share the ride" kinda day.  I'm in Roche, Joan is in Friday Harbor.  Radar is showing some convective activity will likely pass over us.  I will be "geared up" for the rain... for the time on the boat.  The scoots will stay in their rolling garage today - we're taking the CR-V.

Not much contemplating.  Even though we are going different directions, I'll drop Joan off right by the office, then take the car across the island.  I like my scoot, but no desire to ride in the rain.

What's that?  You thought it might be contemplating about coming back next year?  WAY too early to even think about that... ask me again in 4 or 5 months.

The rain came down hard enough to block the satellite TV reception - first time this season.

When the reception came back, first the Seattle morning crew, then the Today Show hosts were talking about this weekend signaling "the end of summer."  With 3 work days left, then packing to roll, it will be a soggy departure.  Depending on Mother Nature, some touristing along the way, and by the time we get back to the Tropical Tip, we will likely have "another summer" there.
