Who left the freezer door open??

That arctic air plunging south caught up with us... It was 36 degrees when we loaded back into the truck at sunrise.  Bitter cold wind and dropping temps as we continue north.

Scads of RVs southbound, getting a cold push from the wind.  The headwind dropped our mileage over 3 mpg at our first fill-up today.  Joan is at the helm, I get to web-surf, Izzy is napping.

Making miles, trying to not think about the bone-chilling cold just outside the door of the truck.

Road construction, pot holes, and whoop-de-doos, oh my!  Just checked weather for where Joan would like to get this evening:  minus 6 degrees, windy, snow flurries.  Fun... not.
