Out for a bicycle ride this morning, but Mother Nature was giving us a light, spitty rain; coming and going. So, I kept the ride just in the neighborhood. I put up the HoverAir X1 Pro to get some video of the ride... follow mode and dolly track.

Then, this afternoon, some time with Steph and Dan: our somewhat traditional Christmas Eve snack foods, and some family games. A good time with "the neighbors." This is why we're here: getting this quality family time, any time; but especially on these special days.

We got in a trike ride around 3 pm, cut short by rain. We got in two laps instead of the regular three (five miles, equal to ten on a two-wheeler). With nothing on the agenda for today we will try again, weather permitting. Maybe catch some of the football that will be on today, not that I really care.
In past years we have gone to friend's homes for potluck supper and jams afterward on the big holidays. But they are older or have moved away, so nothing like that this time. Feels weird.
A quiet Christmas here. The travel to see Steph and Dan is planned, with no concern for traffic. ;-) Merry Christmas to you, Alice, Lucy, and Duke!
