Me, the Ray-Ban Wayfarer Met Gen 2 Glasses, and the Oakley Vanguard Meta Glasses. Out for a ride again this morning - starting with wearing the Wayfarers, then switching to the Oakley Vanguards. I need to make a decision today, then get one or the other boxed up to go back.

FWIW the Ray-ban pair looks more like sunglasses. The other looks like ski goggles. And I would lean toward the narrower video rather than wider for most uses.
Got my recumbent trike ride in after a home haircut this afternoon - I needed a shower afterward either way. After riding an extra lap (6 miles) at a very sunny 88° I sat on the back porch swing in front of the fan to cool off. But soon a thunder cell came blowing in. We got to hear a good thunderstorm for a half hour and got maybe 1/2" of rain.
Hi Earl. Yeah, those two sunglasses are very different in style. In the grande scheme of things, it's a first world problem. The field of view on either is wider than a "normal" lens. For action type situations, a wider field of view works better.
A half inch of rain would be very welcome here. It's been months since any measurable precipitation. I remember times when a thunderstorm wasn't always a "high alert" situation. Glad to hear you're getting some ride-time in.
