The reports were mixed when I first came into work. It was looking like it would be a long trip north for us. A half hour before heading out, a new report: L-Pod was moving south. Fast.
As we departed the harbor, I decided to head south around the southern end of the island, then north. It turned out to be the right move - we were treated to some very nice viewing with L-Pod.
I don't take it for granted.
