The morning after...

The 4th is behind us.  We had a nice evening last night, listening to the music, then watching the fireworks from Wild Blue's cockpit.  Just as the fireworks started, an obviously intoxicated couple climbed on the sailboat next to us... before I could open my mouth, Joan said, "Hey, that is not your boat - get off of there!"

They were startled that anyone would challenge them, I think.  The guy said, "Opps, wrong boat," and they climbed off.  As they walked away, we could hear the woman say mockingly, "That is not your boat..."

I am not sure how anyone, drunk or not, thinks that getting on a boat that isn't theirs is acceptable.

Oh, well, it didn't dampen our enjoyment of the fireworks...

The fireworks were followed by the usual several minutes of boat horns honking.  Izzy did fine with the fireworks; she was less thrilled about all the horns, but she didn't freak out - she just sat under the dinette.  We all went to bed as the horns died down... nice to not have to fight traffic.  :-)

This morning, we got up to peace and quiet.  And this view...

Mother Nature's handiwork is just as pretty as any fireworks display.  :-)
