Recon...
We started our morning with breakfast at the Hungry Clam. OK, this is real - we are here!
From there, it was down to the waterfront, to check out the new building and the boats. The building is not finished, yet. The boss is hoping to be in there this weekend - I think that is pretty optimistic...
Our company will have entrances on the waterfront side and the side to the left. The upper level will house a restaurant, and it looks like that space has a long ways to go.
The newest boat for our company...
A view from the main pier looking back at all three boats...
From there, out to the barn - where the office is currently. We got to say hi to Pat (the company bookkeeper) and meet some of the new people. The phones were constantly ringing - looks like a very busy season.
Then, out to Roche Harbor - a nice drive in the Honda, even more fun on the other Hondas (scoots); a bit chilly for that this morning: 54º. We had a short visit with Brit, and met a couple more new people. They were busy there, too. Didn't need it, but it would be a shame to be at Roche and not get a couple fresh donuts.
Back to Friday Harbor and to the coach. Time to get a walk in with Izzy before her lunch.
Lots to take in.
