On the ferry...
Extreme zoom, then a close-up. This lady (from the Whale Museum) was leading a discussion about Orcas. Once in a while, they do this on the ferry. Good timing: this week is "Super Pod," a gathering of Orca enthusiasts (sometimes called Dorcas).
The bow and stern on the ferry...
A house in the trees...
A C-Dory moored in front of their house...
Though the sunroof of the Honda...
Yep, it works for selfies - the display screen rotates so you can see it from the front of the camera.
When we were back home, a visit from these two fawns...
I'm pleased with these initial results, trying a bit of everything, from close-up to full length, telephoto to wide angle, different lighting conditions. This camera is a good fit in the hand. I'm looking forward to trying it on the scoot and the boats - the Nikon DSLR was easy to use for that. This one should do likewise.
