... a great time to be out on the water. Don't get me wrong - sunsets here can be pretty spectacular, but this evening, clouds at the horizon made it less colorful.
We shoved off around 4:30...
A plethora of pelicans in that shot above - they guys had gotten back from fishing, and the birds know there will be some good stuff tossed into the water. All of the above was before we got out of our canal.
We never got more than a mile away from our house. Well, more than that with our "routing," through the canals and around the island. It wasn't long before we saw dolphins...
No other boats around, the dolphins came to us...
We each took some time at the helm...
The light was slipping away...
Three dolphins escorted us to our canal. Nice way to wrap up the day.
