Desire vs Reality...

"You're not going to over-share again, are you, Jim?"

Probably.  But not now.  I was thinking I wanted to try the HoverAir X1 Pro behind one of the bikes.  Well, I'm still thinking that, but the humidity felt like a Texas morning, with heat like an Arizona morning.  I stayed around this morning, giving Murphy more time in the courtyard.

And while at that, I checked the water temp on the hot tub.  We're still playing the "juggle the temperature" game as the temperature outside are still in the triple digits most days.  Since I was messing with the hot tub, when Joan came out, she said, "If you're going to soak, I'll join you."

"Yeah, I'm in!"

After soaking, Joan pulled out the "side curtains" that came with the pop-up kiosk that got shredded in the haboob a couple weeks ago.  She clipped them to the new pop-up kiosk.  Yep, that really cuts down the sun pounding on the hot tub...

Yeah, I know: the color doesn't match.  This is just an experiment.  First thing in the morning, the sun can get under that cover; Joan hung our towels on that east side to give us shade while we were in the hot tub.  That got her to thinking about those side curtains that had never been used.  Well, now they have been used.

Another couple weeks, and we should be through the monsoon season; a month or so after that, and the daytime highs should be moderating.  We won't need a cover over the hot tub, I can set the temperature in it to 102º, and it won't be climbing above that.  We can hope.
