Does this look sweet to you?

Murphy has his paw around his little sister... sweet, right?  Um... no.

It was a raucous morning in our house today.  We continued with the "no hollering policy," but Murphy wound up in "time out" several times.  Yep, up on the counter.  Repeatedly.  And little Stella?  She was pouncing on Murphy.  Repeatedly.  Oh, he wasn't innocent - look close at that photo above... Murphy isn't hugging Stella, he is going for a head-lock.  And how it all started: Murphy was up on that top level, when Stella jumped in on him.

Oh, there are times when they are sweet... this morning was not one of those times.  Like right now: they are napping.  Separately.

The standard progression for sibling cats is usually: lick, lick, lick.... chomp. Or so it has been with ours over the years. It starts out all sweet and innocent and escalates to Big Time Cat Wrestling. But it is adorable.

Lucy was crazy this morning, waking me at 0500 and would not let me get back to sleep. Is it a full moon yet? Eventually we moved to the TV room and my easy chair. When she crawled over from Alice's chair and settled onto my lap, we both finally got a nap.

The full moon is on the 3rd. Getting close. Glad you and Lucy got a nap in. Stella is being the typical younger sibling - wants to follow along, generally the first to start things... then screams "Mom!!" when she is over-powered.
