Tropical Storm Alex...

It's still June, and there's already a storm with a name. I don't like storms with a name. This one is a few days out and approaching the Yucatan in Mexico. Computer models are showing it heading towards our area. Soooooo... we'll be keeping an eye towards the weather in the Gulf. Tropical storms are no fun, but it's better than a full-blown whirley-girl.

We are also watching Alex. It is supposed to become a Cat 1 after it crosses the Yucatan. Southern GOM storms make me nervous. We are bumping our departure date up a week and heading West.

Hi Herb,

I'm not too excited about seeing the hurricane season kick off this early. As of this afternoon, the computer models are now showing this one going into MX, south of us. I can understand your desire to get out of there earlier.

Travel safe, drop us a note when you can.
