A three-state day...

We left Branson this morning, heading south. The weather forecast for that area is calling for lovely days and cool nights for the next 4 days... and then a cold front is supposed to move in. Yep, time for us to move out. The roads wound up and down the hills, plenty of curves... definitely more fun on the motorcycle, but Big Red handled it all with no fuss. The fall colors are spectacular! Mostly 2-lane until the Little Rock area, then onto the super-slab.

We paused for a bit when I brought up the possibility of heading to Florida for a C-Dory/Ranger Tug gathering in a week. Joan gave it consideration, but we agreed that it would be more fun to do that with the boat... and no way can we get Wild Blue there in time. So, we turned right instead of left, heading towards Texas. Still no schedule and no need to eat up a lot of miles; if all goes well, we should be back in the Tropical Tip in a few days.
