I planned to clean and polish Wild Blue's hull today. That didn't happen. I did get her bottom job scheduled at the boat yard. Instead of boat work, we hung some additional sun shades out on the deck. That only took three times longer than the directions said it should take. Then, onto moving a cable connection... our neighbors had some paver stone landscaping done, and the installers cut our cable. They said they had it repaired, but the TVs in the house said otherwise. The cable folks put in a new cable... and left it laying on top of the paver stones. Of course, the cable was just a teensy bit short when the paver stone guys came out to move it. Options: call the cable company again, or just move the connection outside the house to gain a few inches. Yep, option 2.
Lunch on the island... not many people there. You can get a motel room for less than $30. The restaurant we ate at was mostly empty. Not good for the business people here, but I kinda like the quiet. No evidence of the red tide - the water in the bay was a gorgeous turquoise color.
Hot afternoon, good time to not clean a boat hull. Nice time for a nap. I like having no schedule.
