Back to the 2/2/2 Rule...

After spending a week in Laughlin, we are off again today.  This time, we will do just over 200 miles, be off the road by 2:00 pm, and settle in for two months.  ;-)

One last look returning from the Riverside Casino...

It's a skyway that goes over Casino Drive, from the hotel/casino area to the RV park (and parking ramp).

This morning, after putting the utilities away and getting the coach ready to roll, we hooked the cargo trailer behind the coach and Joan drove separate in the Honda...

Crossing the bridge over the Colorado River, the border between Nevada and Arizona; and, an immediate time zone change.  We were up and out ahead of "schedule"... yeah, another self-imposed schedule.

Driving separate, I can't see the Honda in my rear camera, only in the mirrors...

It is a pretty good climb out of Bullhead City to the top of the pass - about a 3,000' change in elevation.  A pretty drive though.  This particular scene looks like it is flipping me off, however...

A short stretch on Interstate 40...

Then, back to US Highway 93, heading southeast...

Some interesting scenery with boulders and cacti...

Rufus spent some time in the navigator's seat...

After passing through Wickenberg, we pulled into a rest area - lunch for Rufus and his people...

Less than an hour to go from there.  We pulled into the RV park just before 2:00 pm, got registered and went to our site to get set up.  Plenty of work to do, since we will be in one place for a while: besides the usual utility hook-ups, we put out a couple patio mats, get out chairs and a table, and get the cargo trailer changed over from hauling mode to "scooter garage" mode.  Once the chairs were set up, Rufus came out to join us...

He missed having time with his Momma while on the road today...

And, the patio all set up...

Home sweet home for the next couple months.  When Steph and Dan were done at school, we met them for supper out.  Then, back to their place for a bit so we could see the grand-kitties.

We're looking forward to our time here.

Joan made a very astute observation this evening: "Pacific Time Zone messes with my life - the primetime TV shows are on way too late!"  Back in the Mountain Time Zone again... nice to have the news at 10:00 pm.  :-)
