Well, a bit of a play on the last post. 13 hour days are not uncommon for the boat crew, especially when we are doing breakfast and dinner cruises. And it was a very busy day on the water today. On the really bright side, the dock we brought in on Wednesday has been fully repaired and was set in place this morning on Elk Island; so, we are booking lots of meal cruises.
On our dinner cruise this evening, we had a couple celebrating their 25th anniversary, another couple celebrating their 50th, and one lady's 80th birthday... it was a happy bunch on tonight's cruise. Mother Nature cooperated nicely, giving us just enough breeze to keep the skeeters away, but not enough to be unpleasant.
And tomorrow, we'll do it all over again; but this time with two cruise boats.
