Surprise - we now also have an "air quality" alert due to the smoke from the out-of-control fire. Who in their right mind thought this was a good idea??
Another day of "domestic projects" - Joan spend most of the day making drape panels; I put together the rest of the entertainment center and a matching hanging cabinet. And amongst all that, Joan made a tasty "Grandma meal": roast beef, mashed potatoes, and all the trimmings, including an apple tart dessert. It's nice for the kids to come home from work and have a good meal ready to go on the table. OK, it's nice for me, too!
