Talking about the weather.  We did not get the huge rains that put Houston and the surrounding areas in the news due to the massive flooding, but we did get some rain and copious amounts of thunder and lightning.  I stood out on the deck, watching lightning on all sides of us, then tracking the movement on radar apps.  We were fortunate - parts of South Padre Island had hail, we did not see any of that at our house.  Plenty of wind in the middle of the night.  We lost power for a couple hours.

This morning: bits of blue sky, and the "heaviness" that has been in the air the past couple days is gone.  Seems that the unstable air has moved on.
