Not what you might be thinking. We haven't been to a movie in a while; some of the shows on our local 4-plex are going to be changing tomorrow... if we want to see Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, today is the day. When here, we usually go to a movie if the weather is crappy - it was beautiful again today.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is about a newsperson (Tina Fey) in Afghanistan 2003 through 2006. It wasn't a "forgotten war," more like an ignored war. The American public didn't want to see it everyday on their news shows. This movie is from the newsperson's perspective.
The advertising for this movie showed the funny parts in the previews... this wasn't what I'd consider a comedy. But, it was an interesting show. Not great, not awful. A dramedy.
When we got back from the movie, I was up for a spin around the resort on the e-bike. Upper 70s, light breeze, sunny/hazy - nice weather for some pedaling. On the way home, I stopped by our mailbox; coming out, it is apparent that many of the winter folks have gone back north...
My e-bike, a Harley trike, a golf cart, and 3 cars in the parking lot. Pretty quiet.
