To Washington...

D.C., not the state.  It is only 120 miles or so from Hershey to where we are staying in College Park, Maryland (supposed to be the RV park closest to D.C.), so no need to get out early.  We were rolling out of the park in Hershey around 11:00...

Mostly Interstate on this stretch; plenty of wooded hills.  A nice view of this train bridge over the Susquehanna River Bridge at Harrisburg...

An uneventful drive - crossing into Maryland...

Plenty of traffic from Baltimore into College Park on the Interstate...

This RV park is one of the nicest we've stayed in this trip: lots of sites, a couple swimming pools, a splash park, a restaurant, a theater, other nice amenities, and a daily "briefing" at 4:00 where someone from the park offers different tours.  We did book a "D.C. After Dark" tour, run by the park, for tomorrow night, and bought a couple Metro Smart Cards that can be used on the subways and buses.

Our site here is a bit snug for our length, but nicely landscaped and not stacked too close together...

While at the tour briefing, the sky opened up and the rain poured down (20% chance of precip).  I was concerned about our awning, but it took care of itself: one side dropped to let the water run off.

I was thinking about a soak in the hot tub this evening, but the thunderstorms may change that plan.
