Another day, another dozen or so dolphins...
Out on the boat this afternoon, with the wind blowing a bit stronger than the weather weasels predicted (imagine that?); mostly overcast; but, we brought our sunny dispositions, hoping to see some dolphins.
Once again, it didn't take long, and there were plenty of them...
With the first group we watched, there were about a dozen of them - Joan captured lots of tails as they swam around us and dived...

We moved toward the ship channel and found another group - a Momma and a youngster...
A bait shrimper surrounded by birds...
An excursion boat...
Heading for home, another group of dolphins...
A happy captain and first mate...
About a 10 minute ride in the canals on our island to get to our dock, so time for looking at the birds along the way...
I think the birds above are black-bellied whistling ducks; snowy egret below...
A nice afternoon out on the water.
