... we have our driveway back. With the CR-V, the cargo trailer, and the boat on the trailer, it pretty much fills up our parking. This morning, we took care of the last couple things we needed to do with the boat, hooked up the trailer, and hauled it to our storage unit.
I was going to siphon gas from the boat into a gas can, then pour that into the Honda. Joan suggested I just siphon it directly into the car. Yep, that make sense...
There was around 3 gallons left in the boat tank... almost topped off the tank for the 38 miles from our house to the storage unit.
We put the cover on the boat, loosely, to allow air movement. Disconnected the battery. The boat is ready for some resting time.
With the boat put away, it feels like we can now take our time getting the house and ourselves set up for our next outing.
Coming back across the bridge on our way home... yep, dolphins. This may be the only place we get to see them for a while. :-)
