A chilly start to the day here: 47º, cold wind, and a light drizzle. It was 66º in the living room when I got up; the electric fireplace takes the chill off. I stepped outside for less than 30 seconds to check on the boat - yep, looks like another indoor day today.
Rufus sat on Joan's lap this morning while she enjoyed her coffee. No one in this household is in a hurry to get on with the day. It warms my heart to see them together.
When Joan got up to get some fruit for us, she wrapped Rufus in the quilt she had on her lap...
That is one very contented furry boy.
