The media hadn't called it by the time I turned over to go to sleep, but it was clear where the results of the election was going. Regardless of what side you were on, I expect our everyday life won't change much. With the rhetoric in the rearview mirror, we need to look forward. Keep doing what you do.
Here's a look at last night's evening sky (to add some calm to your day)...
The view from our courtyard is pretty expansive: sunrise over South Mountain to the south and east of us, and sunset over the Estrella Mountains to the west. Nature does what she does. We need to do what we do.
This afternoon, I'm going to make some music with friends.

Lovely sunset, and good to make music with friends. My bluegrass jam is moving to another venue tomorrow night, and I deleted the "problem children" from my email list. Hopefully they won't track us down anyway.
As for the election - I hope the rhetoric will die down now, but fear there will be a lot of turmoil between now and JAN 20.
Yep, I think you're right about the turmoil. Good luck with the new venue!
It is a new venue for this bluegrass group, but the ukulele club that I founded in 2008 and led for years has been playing there for 13 years or so. There is a lovely second floor chapel and if that is busy we can go across the hall to the arts & crafts room (a smallish classroom). it will be an upgrade.
The KOA RV park clubhouse had hosted the bluegrass group for about 15 years, but the new management was not very friendly to us. It was clear that they considered our group an an inconvenience. But the campers loved having live music on Thursday nights, and sometimes would even sit in with us. Management recently decided to close the clubhouse at 8 pm for winter hours, and that forced many of use to drive through the heart of the worst local rush hour traffic to start at 6 pm. I'm 5.2 miles away and the drive consistently took 37 stressful minutes each week.
Good that you have that venue and a back-up! Have fun with your group!
