A smokey start, do-bee-do-bee-do-bee, and lounging in bed...

No.  No lounging for us.  Today is our "Friday," the last day of our work week.  My old bones are feeling it.

Little Izzy, on the other hand, gets to lounge whenever she wants.  Most days, she wants to go outside before we are even dressed.  So, before we can go out, she often gets another nap in.  She has her own blanket on our bed.  She also has her own bed, that she rarely uses.  Today was a rare day, I guess...

When I went outside to get Joan's bike out, Iz was ready to go.  The smoke from the fires on the mainland made its way here yesterday; a hazy start to the day...

For some reason, bees have been gathering on our patio mat that last few weeks.  For the most part, we don't bother them, they don't bother us.  This morning, they were thick...

That is a few square inches on one of our chairs.  Below is a small bit of the patio mat...

I have to steer Izzy around them as we go out of the motorhome.  On her leash out in the grass, there are no bees.  And, some backlight...

Well, enough of observing the morning - time to take on the day.
