It was raining hard in Frisco...

If you said, "Taxi, by Harry Chapin, 1972," you get 100 bonus points.  Mark and I used to play this song back in 1975; I have played it off and on since that time; it was a re-introduction for Mark.  Mark used to sing lead on this one, so it seemed right that it was his again.  Yes, we worked it up.  The chords are simple enough, but there are a lot of changes, both with timing and chord arrangement.  This is not one of those "let's start in C and go for it" kinda songs.

We spent about an hour and a half on this song alone.  It isn't ready for recording, yet, but I think it will be on the list in the near future.  I laid down guitar and vocal tracks for a previous project; Mark did piano and sax on yet another one.

Musically, it was a very productive day.  Joan took some photos for us, so we'll have something current to use on future SoundCloud recordings...

Joan worked on her sewing/quilting project solo for a couple hours, before Cindy got home from a prior commitment.  Then, more collaborating on their part.  Nice when it works out that way.  A preview...

I'm guessing you can tell what the subject matter is.  ;-)
