By the time we rode back on that part, it was time for lunch. We stopped at the boat to feed Izzy, then took our bikes a few blocks to another Italian restaurant. This one had an outdoor courtyard dining area, and this was the perfect day for it. Good food and interesting people watching.
After lunch, we rode the bike path the other direction... through another park, along another swim beach, then we stopped at the bandshell where there is going to be a big band concert tonight. In all, we rode about 17 km, through some very pretty scenery. And something you don’t see everyday - a tree climbing dog.

We came back to the boat for some lounge time. As you can see from this photo, people were stocking up for tonight’s party... yeah, that’s a shopping cart full of beer.

A dock neighbor came by and said, “That’s one heck of a boat you have there. It looks like you’re equipped for anything.” We visited for a bit. We’re certainly not the biggest boat here, but Wild Blue does attract attention... we haven’t seen another boat style like ours since we’ve been up here.

When it got close to 6:30, we packed our chairs a couple blocks to the bandshell for the concert. The band was good, but not particularly punchy (the way I prefer big band music). Still, it was a nice evening out.
