I got up this morning, turned on local TV, and they were talking about... snow! "Snow down to the 2,000 foot level - the chain law will be in effect for vehicles crossing the mountains east of San Diego..."
It rained during the night, and the wind blew like stink, but no nasty white stuff here on the coast. Judging by all the coverage it was getting this morning, this is not a typical event. Looks like our timing will be good, and the roads should be thawed out by our departure this weekend.
Truly, we have had some beautiful weather here in San Diego. Oh, it was overcast and occasionally drizzly yesterday, but it is sunny (but cool) today. A nice day for lunch out, some shopping, and enjoying the local area.
